Federal Community Question Time
Event description
The Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (VACCHO) in partnership with The Centre of Excellence for Aboriginal Families Wellbeing, Lowitja Institute and Clothing the Gaps are hosting Federal Community Question Time.
This in-person event is a unique opportunity for mob to come together to question Federal government candidates from numerous political parties on important issues impacting Aboriginal Communities in the lead up to the Federal election.
The panel will be moderated by Uncle Charles Pakana from Victorian Aboriginal News. Panellists include;
- Senator Dorinda Cox (Greens)
- Senator Lidia Thorpe (Independent)
- Assistant Minister Ged Kearney (Labor)
- Dr Jill Gallagher AO (VACCHO CEO)
Details of the event, as currently planned is as follows;
DATE: Tuesday 18 March
TIME: 7pm-8.30pm (finger food and refreshments will be served from 6.00pm)
LOCATION: Aboriginal Advancement League, 2 Watt Street Thornbury
