Event description

Feeding Fauna is the solo project of Louise O’Reilly (Lunar Dirt, Laneway), who crafts synth-pop where restless ache meets not-quite-forever reverb. The new album, The Headland, will be launched at Our Golden Age 22 November.  Written in a fishing shed in Iceland, the record transforms nine single-frame snapshots into simmering bangers with layered vocals, vintage drum machines, and glacial atmospheres all colliding in luminous detail in what feels like a beautifully cohesive sonic world. The album is accompanied by a limited edition clear vinyl pressing. The Sydney launch features local lo-fi electronic composer Hubcaps who will have copies of their windfall album ‘Singing & Songing’ available.
