Felicity Cripps + Open Swimmer

Having just released her second 'FCB' album, singer/songwriter Felicity Cripps, is softly launching this new release with a series of intimate solo shows throughout Victoria. Her new album, Chasing Volcanoes, is a heartfelt offering, shimmering with nostalgia and psychedelic tinctures. The new recording features a full band, creating lush soundscapes, supporting Felicity's dreamy, dark and ethereal vocals.

The power of these songs is undeniable when performed solo – each song is brought to life in an acoustic setting, just vocals and acoustic guitar, with occasional drum machines and glimmers of the band, backing an otherwise minimal set. The stories and subtleties behind each song really shine in this stripped-back arrangement, as Felicity draws her audience into another realm; searching for meaningful connections and portals into other worlds.

Felicity will be joined by Open Swimmer - the brain-child of Ben TD who's sound is most often reflective and quiet, sprinkled with moments of exhilaration and intensity.
