Shaping the purse
Discuss further decorative options for your vessel and how to finish your purse

This workshop is suitable for children from 12 years onwards and adults

Included are all materials needed for felting

What to bring: One or two old towels, a small bucketA plastic bag, a pair of sharp scissors, an apron

A drink and lunch or snacks.

About your tutor Petra Hilsen:  I was always interested in textiles. First watching my grandmother who was a talented seamstress making our clothes and my mother knitting socks and vests for us. Later I dabbled myself making clothes for my dolls and enrolled in a dress making course. During Uni I took up spinning, weaving and dying of wool. Wool became my favourite medium. I am now working as a feltmaker and workshop facilitator.
