Event description

Felted Bowls, Platters and Dishes with Martien van Zuilen

Join Artist Martien van Zuilen for this hands-on class exploring the beauty and function of felt making. Using an innovative double-walled technique, participants will create a hand-felted small bowl, platter or dish, individually styled to their interest.

Learn valuable techniques to create your own 3D felted form; using fine merino wool, blending colours, adding yarns and novelty fibres, and creating textural effects. The focus is on ‘quality in creativity’ - give yourself a set of skills, play to your heart’s content and gain inspiration for future projects in 3D felted form.
Previous felting experience is not necessary.
