FELTED WHIPRAY WORKSHOP

A community workshop

We we will be making the beautiful Baya Gawiy, the freshwater whipray.

We will be exploring the techniques of both felt stitching and wet felting to create these amazing creatures of the mighty Martuwarra.

Our stories come alive through language, music, natural dyed silks, paintings and felt resources.

Led by Nikki from Making Time, and the team from the Baya Gawiy Centre in Fitzroy, we will join the workshop via zoom, from the Esperance Community Arts Space.

All materials are supplied . Make 1 for the Baya Gawiy Centre, and you can make another to take home.
