Experience the joys of creating with colour, form and fibre!

Join your tutor Sigrid McTurk and learn basic felting methods!

Basic skill of wet felting: Three dimensional items like a ball - warm water soap and motion will work magic.

Basic skill of needle felting: Finishing with colour and small decorations with the help of a needle.

Sigrid is currently an early childhood educator, also tutoring in music and fiber art . She is trained, skilled and gifted in many arts, such as organic gardening, cooking, music , music/play therapy , Waldorf Education and in a variety of crafts. Some of her creations are displayed at school and Kindergarten in Christchurch and in many private homes over NZ . Many of her creation and the skills thought have been taken to all corners of the world. Sigrid has been teaching 'fiber art 'to all ages and skill levels. Sigrid gives attention to the process of creating your individual art work. She will be supporting to unveil more of your personal artistic skills. You can be guaranteed being nurtured, enriching and encouraged in many levels, as well as the environment where you place your creations. Sigrid believes everyone should be involved in some kind of creative activity and loves sharing the joy of art and craft with as many people as possible.
