Female Founder Pitch Night
Description
Fishburners Female Founder Pitch Night
This is how Fishburners is opening 2026.
We’re opening the year by putting female founders on stage.
Off the back of the launch of the latest iteration of The Ascent Project at the end of 2025, we’re excited to be shining light on the incredible work of the startups we’re looking to support.
On February 26, Fishburners is hosting the Female Founder Pitch Night, a deliberate opening statement for 2026 and a signal of where we’re putting our weight, our energy, and our platform.
This night is about founders who are building.
Founders who are raising.
Founders who are ready to be seen, backed, and taken seriously.
What this event is
A female-only pitch night hosted by Fishburners, Australia’s largest startup community.
Selected female founders will pitch their businesses in front of investors, operators, ecosystem leaders, and peers who are here to listen, engage, and support, not judge from the sidelines.
Come and see real founders, real companies, and real opportunity.
Why this night matters
Fishburners has supported over 35,000 entrepreneurs, helped startups raise $1B+, and hosted 15,800+ events since 2011.
As we step into 2026, we’re being explicit about our priorities.
We are loudly, visibly, and at scale backing female founders.
This pitch night sets the tone for the year ahead and leads directly into the next iteration of The Ascent Project, Australia’s largest coordinated effort to fund and empower female founders.
The last Ascent cohort did far more than just participate. They achieved and then some.
They raised capital.
They won awards.
They entered accelerators.
They built real traction.
This pitch night is the front door.
