The Thirsty Devil Brewery is proud to partner with Ben Hamilton-Smith to deliver the countries best Female Self Defence and Violence Prevention program.
This workshop will cover the following components designed to keep yourself and others safe:
*Self Awareness - Discover your own coping mechanism under stressful conditions.
*Methods of maintaining environmental and situational awareness without creating paranoia.
*Learn the most prominent behavioural red flags for predatory behaviour.
*Understand coercive control and the importance of the new laws making this a criminal offence
*Learn how to apply verbal escalation strategies
*Practice some 'fun' hands on drills that will enhance your self defence ability, without you having to memorise self defence techniques that require a high degree of athleticism to perform.
*Plus more, all in the safety and comfort of our function room.
Your facilitator for the evening will be Ben Hamilton-Smith, who has a lifetime of experience in Safety Training including:
*Diploma in Public Safety (Policing)
*Victoria Police Operational Safety & Tactics Trainer
*Police Defensive Tactics & Firearms Instructor
*Training & Assessment (TAE40116)

*Trauma Informed Coaching
*SAFE international Accredited Instructor

*43 Years in Martial Arts
*Emergency First Aid & CPR Qualification
Attendees must be 12 yrs and over, all attendees under 18 to be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
