Event description

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY EVENT

We are delighted that Bri Lee will join us to discuss her smash hit book 'Eggshell Skull'. Bri is an author, freelance writer, an academic and a photographer. She is also qualified to practice law - but doesn't!

Her first book, Eggshell Skull, was published in June 2018. It won several awards, including the Biography of the Year at the Australian Book Industry Awards, and received many more listings, including being longlisted for The Stella Prize. Bri’s second book, an essay called Beauty, came out in November 2019.

FEMINIST LEGAL PERSPECTIVES

The WLSNSW Foundation hosts a monthly Seminar Series ‘Feminist Legal Perspectives’ exploring a variety of current and often confronting women’s rights issues. These seminars are a vital for engaging our network of contributors and donators with our work but also for promoting current research and agitating for change.
