FemmeX female DJ night - Women.Life.Freedom fundraiser - AVA Irandoost (Berlin/KaterBlau)@Brunz Memorial Hall

Inspired by the women.life.freedom movement and the women and girls who are courageously fighting for their fundamental human rights around the world, FemmeX aims to organise fundraising parties to showcase female and female-identified artists throughout the year. All ticket proceeds will be donated to Nonprofits that support women around the world. We hope with this event series to raise awareness around women's equity and the challenges women face worldwide. All proceed will be donated to Nonprofits to support women in need and help to raise awareness around Domestic Violence.

For our first FemmeX launch in Byron we have a very special guest: AVA Irandoost. 

An Iranian Filmmaker I Video Artist I Music Producer I DJ  

Ava Irandoost is an award-winning filmmaker, performance artist, music producer, and Dj. She grew up in Tehran and left her country at the age of 18 to study architecture at The University of the Arts in Berlin, where she received her Master in Architecture. There, Irandoost discovered the multifaceted nature of her character, and the desire to tell stories through different manifestations of art; expressing herself through video work, writing, film, and music.

​Irandoost says „ I am interested in creating spaces; internal and external spaces of both the characters and the geometrical room. I want to explore the intersection of these areas, that’s where the story is happening.“
