Join us for a practical, engaging field day focused on the impacts and management of feral and pest species in and around Wellington National Park.
Feral Future on Farms will explore the latest tools, strategies, and collaborative efforts being used to control feral pigs, feral cats, foxes and deer — and the importance of this work in protecting our threatened species.
This free event is open to landholders, landcarers, and community members with an interest in biosecurity, pest animal control, and conservation.
What’s On:
· Live demos of feral pig trapping equipment (including the Pig Brig)
· Trap and tool displays for managing foxes and other invasive species
· Expert talks on predator impacts, ecology, and practical control techniques
· Taxidermy display of native threatened species
