Description

Hands-on feral pig management workshop for the Wyanbene and Krawarree communities - local focus, practical skills, real results

Event details:

Join South East Local Land Services for a hands‑on feral pig management workshop tailored to the Krawarree community.

This practical session is about sharing knowledge, building skills, and working together to reduce pig impacts locally.

You’ll learn about:

  • Insights and outcomes from Adam Milbourne’s pig‑trapping program

  • How to set, use, and maintain pig traps effectively

  • Why coordinated, community‑wide management makes a real difference

  • How LLS can support you with advice, resources, and on‑ground help

This is your chance to connect with neighbours, learn what works, and develop a coordinated plan to manage feral pigs across Krawarree. Together, we can achieve meaningful, long‑term results.

Additional details:

  • BYO chair, hat, water bottle and appropriate clothing for outdoor activities.

  • Morning tea, lunch and refreshments will be provided.

  • This workshop will be held on farm – biosecurity protocols will be communicated prior to the event.
