All ages!

Fergus Jones is a Scottish artist living and working in Copenhagen. A producer and DJ lauded by Boomkat as “one of the underground’s key, ifliminal, hyper-connectors,” he runs the label and event series FELT, which has released records by the likes of Civilistjävel! & Carrier.

Previously known as Perko, Jones released his acclaimed debut album Ephemera on Numbers in 2024. Developed with collaborative energy as the creative priority, the album was produced by Jones alongside an extensive list of like-minded musicians, lyricists and vocalists, including Huerco S, James K, Koreless, Birthmark, ELDON and Withdrawn of Bristol’s Cold Light crew, Laila Sakini and Lia T.   Ephemera featured on numerous Best of 2024 lists by publications such as The Quietus, Phonica, Gorilla vs. Bear, and First Floor, with Pitchfork columnist Philip Sherburne highlighting “Heima” as the year’s best trip-hop single and Resident Advisor recommending its “masterful storm of trip-hop, dub and downtempo."

Ephemera followed three releases on Numbers under the Perko alias–2018’s NV Auto, 2020’s The City Rings, and2023’s Prang, which was included on Resident Advisor’s Best Tracks of 2023– and 2020’s Galerie on Denmark’s Posh Isolation.

Praised for his productions, live performances, and DJ sets, Jones has notably contributed mixes to the long-running FACT and Truants series, and is a frequent guest on radio stations such as NTS, Rinse, and the Lot. He has toured in Australia, China, and Japan, and performed at clubs worldwide including Berlin (Tresor), London (Ormside Projects), Barcelona (Nitsa), Glasgow, and in his adopted city of Copenhagen.

Bay Area DIY pop duo Loveshadow met in Oakland in 2016, bonded over their love of ‘80s sounds and immediately began building their musical world with lush synths, funky basslines, and irresistible hooks. The past is always in their palette, but Loveshadow’s nostalgia doesn’t trace to any single locus; it’s more like a cloud, and it’s through this haze that they breathe new life into the music they love.

Their debut album was released in 2021 on Music from Memory to acclaim. II presents a more subtle and refined statement from the band - laser-focused on the vaporous expanse. Album opener “Last Room” saunters with the confidence of Sade, while “Earthen Track” feels like Kate Bush covering a forgotten city pop anthem. The album is largely focused on club-friendly material, but mellower pieces like “Winter’s Door” and “Mirage” are sophisticated stand-outs that would make Ryuchi Sakamoto proud. Italo funk groover “Power Melts Away” closes out the album by upping the energy into fist-pumping territory. Anya’s lyrics on II use the unreality of dreams as a lens to examine the realities of change and personal growth; illusions made material. Loveshadow elegantly smear the lines between past and present, pop and avant, immanent and transcendent.

For this visit to Denver, Loveshadow will be Anya and Jess a.k.a. Mishka.
