Come learn and explore the world of fermented foods in this relaxing workshop!

Many are just hearing about this ancient art of food preservation and starting out can seem overwhelming. In this class, we will show you that its actually pretty easy, all it takes is a little time and patience. 

Plus, did you know there are an estimated 100 trillion microorganisms with more than 500 different species in a healthy bowel and these help digestion, nutrient absorption and generation and contribute to the immune systems?

Stress, antibiotics, illness and poor diet can significantly damage our gut symbiosis (balance) and mean there aren’t enough good bacteria for our digestive systems to work effectively which can cause digestive issues, allergies, mental health problems, obesity and disease.

Workshop itinerary:

  • Discussion on the benefits of fermented foods and gut health
  • Make your own ferment to take home (jar and ingredients provided)
  • Enjoy a healthy lunch and taste a large selection of fermented foods (vegan-friendly)

Samples you can try on the day: 
- Mustard Sauce

- Honey Garlic

- Chilli Sauce

- Fermented carrots & beetroot

- Dairy Yoghurt with a special probiotic

- Coconut Yoghurt

- Kombucha 

At the end of this workshop, you'll feel refreshed and full of new knowledge - ready to make some of your own delicious ferments at home!
