Fermenting food and drinks enhances their probiotic content, vitamin content, shelf life, and flavor. When you buy fermented foods from the grocery store, they have only a tiny fraction of the probiotics of those you would make at home. As this workshop’s teacher, Jessica Harris, has discovered, making your own is cheaper, healthier, and endlessly more creative and satisfying. 

Learn the ancient methods of harnessing microorganisms to improve you and your family’s health and tantalize your taste buds. It’s easier than you think!

This workshop will educate you on the basics of fermentation while you prepare your own sauerkraut to take home with you. Once you know, you’ll be fermenting for life. 

All supplies and ingredients are included to bring home 3 jars of sauerkraut, each with a unique recipe and flavor profile. Cabbage is sourced from a hyperlocal farm!
