Ferrymead Railway Collection 60th - Photographers Event

The Canterbury Railway Society Inc and the Ferrymead Railway are celebrating 60 Years of the Ferrymead Railway Collection by hosting a Photographers Event on Saturday 26th October 2024 from 10am - 4:30pm.

This will feature:

• Display of early and unusual rolling stock in Moorhouse Yard & in the Workshop.
• Goods & Mixed trains hauled by F 13 Peveril & D 140 from the Ferrymead Railway collection & Diesel Traction Group’s DE 511.
  
• Vulcan Railcar/s & Electrics EO 3 & EC 7 making an appearance throughout the day.
• Book Launch at Moorhouse Station at 10:30am.
• Photographers Pass is valid for riding the Train on the Sunday & Monday if you visit the park again.

If you are a member of The Canterbury Railway Society Inc or another society onsite at Ferrymead you will be able to enter the park for free but still need to purchase a Photographers Pass. 

*Entry to the park is additional to the Photographers Pass and purchased from the park directly*
