Eumundi Writers Festival Poetry Slam Grand Final 2025.
Eumundi Writers Festival Short Story Award 2025 winner announced.
From competitors who performed in the Friday night Heat of the Eumundi Writers Festival Poetry Slam a short-list was decided and finalists slam it out tonight to win the title and sponsorship awards.
The winner will be chosen by judges Roxanne McCarty-O’Kane, Lincoln Scott and Simon Cleary. Lincoln is an opera singer, vocal coach, and seasoned performer. Simon is an award winning writer and a barrister. Roxanne is an author, ghost writer, editor, tutor and a qualified journalist who has written for a number of newspapers, magazines and e-zines.
The evening includes a performance by Amy Ocean who will invite you on a journey of emotional amplification and lyrical alliteration - as she uses song and sonnets to encompass her experiences as an emotionally empowered imperfect human.
