Philip Graham
Founder & CEO CleanPeak Energy
Philip’s company works with the “law of large numbers” and how that law enables a precinct to be 100 per cent renewable. Embedded networks enable the flow of energy across the site as efficiently as possible, he says. He’ll share a deep dive look into three of CleanPeak Energy’s assets: Tonsley Innovation District in Adelaide and Barangaroo and Central Park precincts in Sydney.

Terry Leckie
CEO, Altogether Group

Terry’s Altogether Group services 550 community precincts in energy, water and data. The common denominator, he says, is that everyone wants to save money. “It all comes down to the system’s architecture – like creating a local network which captures the resources, store the resources and make it easier to share the benefits.”

But it’s not all about the tough work of hard infrastructure and tech that goes into precincts– it’s also about “softer side of negotiations that happens prior”.

Virginia’s job is to lead degasification around the country. In shopping centres, this is about people power and driving demand upwards to the tenants in food courts and then to the landlords. There’s a groundswell of big property owners joining the Cooksafe Coalition, but how can we accelerate the trend? The influencer power of popular chefs will play a big part and so will pitching to consumers to change old habits shaped by the gas industry.
