Event description
In its second year, the Festival of Football is the biggest day on the NPL football calendar. Two historic, successful and proud Clubs, Sydney Olympic FC and APIA Leichhardt FC compete for the right to call themselves the 'Best in the Inner-West'. Last year it was Olympic that were crowned 'Bets in the Inner West', this time around in Season 2, APIA will be keen to take the trophy back to lambert Park.
The Festival culminates on Sunday 1 May at Belmore Sports Ground with four big matches; Under 20s at 11am, Legends match at 1pm, Womens 1st Grade at 2.45pm and Mens 1st Grade at 5.15pm. Gates open from 9.30am.
The day will be one for the family, in addition to the action on the pitch, there will be international food stalls, kids zones and live entertainment making it a day for the community.
