Shepparton Festival Official Opening Event - Walking Art Tour

A Walking Art Tour of Shepparton!

START 5pm - 5:30pm Beginning at the Shepparton Brewery for a quick drink and to gather into our tour groups, we will then head off on a tour of Shepparton that you've never experienced before.

Stop 1 5:35pm - 5:50pm We arrive at Shepparton Festival HQ to acknowledge and pay respects to the First Peoples of this land, followed by sharing in dance and song by Yorta Yorta artists.

Stop 2 5:50pm 6:10pm Enjoy the first viewing of "A Focus of Conscious Attention" By Reese Truscott. A series of hallucinatory technical drawings installed in an immersive space, illuminated under ultraviolet light.

Stop 3 6:25pm - 6:40pm Greg Pritchard's "Listen Here!" will provide a listening experience of the sounds you might hear at the top of the Shepparton Observation Tower AKA the "Telstra Tower"

Stop 4 6:50pm - 7:15pm We officially open "Tank & Friends" an exhibition of local artists at the new Tank's Art Gallery. Some light refreshments are available here.

Stop 5 7:15pm - 7:30pm Special secret location for spoken word.

FINISH 7:30 - 8pm Pizza, drinks and celebrations with live music at Casablanca Pizza & Pasta
