Festive Lunch 2023

Come join us for a Festive Lunch!

It’s been a big year and now it’s time for celebrating with good company and yummy food!

This is a combined lunch for TransFolk of WA, PFLAG+ and GRAI communities! People of all ages, trans and gender diverse people, LGBTIQA+ people, parents and allies are welcome.

We know the holiday period isn’t always the easiest time of year, so this event is for folks to come together in a safe and welcoming environment where you can be yourself and meet other members of the community.

We’d especially love to see you if you’ve come along to or helped out with any of our activities throughout the year – ending the year seeing all of your lovely faces would be fantastic!

We’ll provide home-cooked food, good company, and a festive spirit!
You’re welcome to bring along a friend, partner or family member - just make sure they also RSVP!

Food will cater to different dietary needs (such as vegan and gf) but please get in contact if you have a specific allergy or uncommon dietary requirements. This an alcohol-free event.

There will be informal seating and festive themed attire is optional – otherwise just wear some clothes you feel good and comfortable in!

Please register so that we can accurately plan catering amounts.

12:15pm arrival, for a 12:30pm lunch!

Accessibility:
We will have a separate quiet room set up with some optional craft activities.
The building is wheelchair accessible. ACROD parking near the entry and a ramp from street.
Gender neutral toilets are available.

This is a pay-what-you-can event
This event is about coming together with community to celebrate the end of the year and enjoy good food! We recognise that some people might be able donate $20 for a ticket, but that for some people that is quite a lot of money!
We want this to be financially accessible to as many people as possible, so when grabbing a ticket, you can choose how much to donate (from $0 up). No one is turned away from lack of funds!

Ticket donations will help to cover the cost of food and drink for the event, and any extra money will support the work TransFolk of WA does.

Getting there:
The venue is right next to the City West train station. Street parking is also available.
