Event description

Learn to prepare a selection of classic festive dishes and treats for your Christmas celebrations. After cake, tea, coffee or a Tasmanian sparkling wine on arrival, Gert from Gert & Ted Gourmet Catering will guide you through preparing some show stopping festive dishes, including a Christmas bread and brie wreath, ginger beer glazed ham, cranberry stuffed turkey breast, classic bread sauce, brandy sauce and Christmas pudding. Then sit down and enjoy your festive menu matched with East Coast Tasmania wines. All of the recipes are provided in a take home gift pack.

Twamley Farm in partnership with Gert & Ted offers a range of cooking class and lunch experiences throughout the calendar year. Learn to cook rustic Italian dishes, farmhouse French cuisine, winter warmers or a spring harvest banquet. Gert from Gert & Ted will teach a range of dishes in a fun and relaxed environment. When all the preparation is done, sit down to a delicious feast together. Each course will be matched with a glass of East Coast Tasmania wine. All recipes taught in the class will be provided in a take home gift pack so you can impress your friends and family with your cooking skills.
Each class is a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8 participants starting at 10am and finishing at 3pm.
