It's FFJ's 5th Birthday and we're celebrating by releasing our new EP titled, IN THE KEEP.

We'll also be warming you up for the event, as we plan to release a single and lyric video from the EP on The Ides Of March.

Flowers For Jayne are Sydney's premier power trio, serving up a swag of original indie pop-punk-rock anthems including fan favourites, Dangerous Woman, You're Not What I'm Looking For and On My Mind. FFJ was founded by former Lime Spiders lead guitarist, Jayne Murphy, who crafts songs that are rock, pop, punk, indie, folk and glam all at the same time, or are they?!

FFJ have been thrilling fans and supporters at Sydney and NSW regional venues since 2019. We've seen a couple of line-up changes over the past two years, and Jayne chimed, "this is the most explosive line up to date, with Kevin 'The Riddler' Riddle playing bass and Peter Timmerman on the drums."

And of course, we're absolutely stoked to introduce our special guests The Hovering Spooks who are also a power trio. They play psychedelic rock and pop with cool grooves.

Bruce “Cub” Callaway (lead vocals/guitar) was a member of The Saints and The New Christs. He also produced albums for Ed Keupper and The Triffids.

Phil Hall (bass/vocals) played in John Kennedy’s 68 Comeback Special, Dropbears, Sardine V, Lime Spiders and Flowers For Jayne.

Peter Timmerman (drums) plays with, or has played with several top Sydney bands including Flowers For Jayne, Smoking Ruins, Delta Green, Practical Girls, Widdershins and John Kennedy’s 68 Comeback Special.

Jayne's also thrilled that Peter "Blackie" Black (The Hard-Ons, Nunchukka Superfly) has accepted her invitation to kick off FFJ's 5th Birthday with a solo set featuring two new singles "Safety Net" and "Is That A Hint Of A Cough".

But the addition of acoustic and harmony has taken Blackie into classic rock territory.. and if that means joining the likes of Brian Wilson and The Byrds why ever not.
