FFRF Development Showing
Event description
Join us on the night of Fin and Quinn’s very real engagement party, as they celebrate their very fake relationship. This event is a showing of the creative development of the play FFRF (Fake Fiance Real Friends).
Fin and Quinn have been besties since primary school. A perfect couple, according to everyone that’s not Fin and Quinn. It is now 10 years since graduating high school and they’re still faking their relationship, a lavender loveship crashing through the milky way of millennial misfortune. Quinn is unable to confide in her beloved Italian grandfather, Nonno, that she loves the ladies, men and gentlethems. And Fin’s in love with the ruse that’s kept his mum, Judith, chill on the ‘what are you doing with your life?’ freight train she’s been driving.
Laugh along as they navigate queer love, friendship, betrayal and the hardship of being a millennial in a collapsing economic system. And always remember we’re here for a good time not a long time and we all end up in the same soggy salad!
Please note: There is some audience interaction offered as a part of the showing. There is light and sound used at various points throughout the work that may overwhelm some viewers.
If you require wheelchair or mobility access, please see the Venue Access page on Goodwood Theatre’s website.
