Fickle Youth Productions Presents - Mr. Melancholy

Mr. Melancholy written by Matt Cameron and Directed by Gabrielle Johns & Mackenzie Thompson follows the story of three hermits living alone, together, at a lighthouse.

One of them is stealing a beach, One of them is trying to get a ventriloquist dummy to talk and One of them is organizing a storeroom full of luggage. That gets washed ashore after a ship inevitably crashes into the nearby rocks.

This is their routine, until one day, a new package washes ashore. A clown - named Dolores.

This is the story of existentialism at its finest. As these three hermits battle to cling to the comfort of their routine and the simple nature of their lives we soon learn that not everyone is as closed off to change. 

This show will leave you crying with laughter and sadness.
