Fierceland after party ft. Omar Musa

Canberra Slam is holding a little after party to celebrate the launch of Fierceland, the new novel by Omar Musa.

This book highlights experiences and stories that resonate across south east Asian culture as a whole, and celebrates the resilience of BIPOC people.

In 2022 when Canberra Slam began it was born from a need to have a safe space where BIPOC stories could be celebrated.

So It’s only right that we host a little after party for Fierceland!

There’s more to be announced but for now we can let you know there will be;

• Curated performances from Canberras best BIPOC poets!

• Live visual ART!

• FREE south east Asian food!

• A FEATURE SET from non other than OMAR MUSA!
