    Event description

Join us at a supporter-exclusive screening of “Fighting For A Green Future,” a seven-part series celebrating over 50 years of environmental action.

Victories and campaigns such as a ban on leaded petrol, protecting our rainforests and the fight for container refunds to stop waste and more, have been long efforts that confronted major obstacles. The series zeros in on how setbacks were overcome and achieved positive systemic change advocated by Total Environment Centre and other campaigners around the country.

We also celebrate the remarkable achievements of environmental campaigners, some of whom have been fighting for the environment since the '70s. They have moved mountains protecting our precious ecosystems.

This inspiring series, produced by TEC, answers critical questions:

    • How did the Australian environmental movement begin?
    • How have campaigns influenced society, economics, science, technology, law, media, and politics?
    • What does the future hold for us, and is there hope?

You will hear from renowned campaigners, political figures, scientists, journalists, and legal experts including interviews with Tim Flannery, Bob Carr, Zali Steggall, and many more!

During the evening, we will also be hosting a Q&A panel with campaigners, and we will be inviting you to be a part of something very special.
