Fighting For A Green Future Film Screening
Event description
Can we still win the fight for a green future?
For the last 50 years the Australian environment movement has won some significant battles against government, industry and against a sceptic community. With climate and nature crises escalating, what needs to happen next? How did passionate environmentalists achieve past wins? What needs to change in society, law, economics, and politics to win the fight for a green future? What lessons can you learn to take action? We talk to outstanding Australian environmentalists, scientists, politicians, and First Nations leaders; take you down memory lane and share a vision of our beautiful environment.
What you’ll go home with:
✅ The inside story of how real change happens
✅ Insights from those taking action on a daily basis
✅ Hope about where we go from here
