Film in the Gallery: My Darling Clementine (1946)
Studio Channel Islands Art Center
Camarillo CA, United States
Event description
Join us for our next Film in the Gallery! This month, we will be screening John Ford’s My Darling Clementine. An entrant in Sight & Sound’s most recently updated list of best films of all time, this western masterpiece portrays the infamous clash at the O.K. Corral in the town of Tombstone. Ford’s take, however, is more meditative than action-packed, led by Henry Fonda’s cool and mannered Wyatt Earp. My Darling Clementine also features local icon Walter Brennan—who has been honored with a statue in Camarillo—as a central antagonist to Earp.
VIP tickets include priority seating and a free drink and snack from our bar.
