Athletes for Nature and Sustainable Future Collective are excited to host the screening of ENVOY: Shark Cull, a multi-award-winning film by Envoy Foundation, narrated by Eric Bana.

Location: Faculty of Arts and Education, University of Auckland, 10 Symonds Street

Room: 201-311 - Seminar Room 76

Off the beautiful beaches and amongst the breathtaking coral reefs of Australia, lurks a deadly and indiscriminate killer. Its thirst for blood kills 1000s each and every year. It lies in wait day after day for innocent victims to swim right into its mouth...

It’s not sharks.

It’s the Government Shark Control Program.

This feature-length documentary film follows some of the biggest names in ocean conservation, such as Sea Shepherd, Ocean Ramsey and Madison Stewart, as they explore and expose this scarcely understood topic, and explain why we need sharks in our oceans.

We are delighted to host a Q&A session after the viewing with film director Andre Borell, and Dr Riley "Shark Man" Elliot, shark scientist at University of Auckland.
