Spring into Fun these School Holidays with Filmbites School Holiday Workshops!

Senior Animation

Tuesday 29th September, 10am - 3pm @ Filmbites 6/31 Oxleigh Drive Malaga. Ages 13 - 18. Doors open at 9:45am and close at 3:15pm. 

For older students who are interested in exploring the world of animation. Learn the interface and navigation for Tahoma, a free software you can learn to use to create super fun animations. This is an exceptional skill to learn if you ever wish to work in the growing entertainment, content creation and resources industries.

Make a Movie in 3 Days

Tuesday 29th, Wednesday 30th of September and Thursday 1st , 10am - 3pm @ Filmbites 6/31 Oxleigh Drive Malaga. Ages 10 - 18. Doors open each day at 9:45am and close at 3:15pm.

Learn the ins and outs of Filmmaking in this three day workshop. All participants are hands on in camera equipment, directing, acting and more! At the end of the three days participants will walk away with their own group film as well as the skills to plan and film a short film.

Junior Screen Acting

Wednesday 30th September, 10am - 3pm @ Filmbites 6/31 Oxleigh Drive Malaga. Ages 8 - 12. Doors open at 9:45am and close at 3:15pm. 

This workshop is an introduction to acting in front of the camera! If you want to learn the important differences between stage and screen acting through creating your own scene this workshop is for you.

Green Screen 

Tuesday 6th October 10am - 3pm @ Filmbites 6/31 Oxleigh Drive Malaga. Ages 10 - 16. Doors open at 9:45am and close and 3:15pm. 

Be a part of both the crew and cast by devising and filming short scenes in Filmbites’ very own green screen studio. Then, head into the computer lab to learn, hands-on, how to add your very own special effects from industry professionals.

Game Design 

Thursday 8th of October, 10am - 3pm @ Filmbites 6/31 Oxleigh Drive Malaga. Ages 8 - 12. Doors open at 9:45am and close at 3:15pm. 

Why just play games when you can learn how to make them. In this workshop you’ll learn how to make 3 different types of games, using Gamemaker software, then get to play each others games. Super fun day for gamers!
