    Event description

Filmonik is an Open-Screen screening / Bring-Your-Own-Film night. We've now moved to our Winter schedule with screenings falling on every last Wednesday of the month until Summer. Our 106th screening will offer fresh short films on a big screen on a leafy, covered and heated CBD rooftop. So fresh, there's often a film completed for the event on the same day. You shall expect fun comedies, a bit of drama, maybe some animation, there's generally one suspense/thriller, one or two music videos, some fun trash, or horror. The truth is, we don't know in advance, but it's always been immediate, spontaneous, crafty, fun, inventive, weird and with urgent, current films. If you're a filmmaker come screen your latest production. We screen, sight unseen, shorts under 5 minutes when spots are still available.

Door: $10 cash or Card. FILMS UNRATED (18+ by default). Content may offend.

WEDNESDAY JUNE 26 at Loop Roof. 3/23 Meyers Place, Melbourne CBD.
Door on the left of the building to the rooftop. Level 3.

Loop Roof is open to the public before 7:30pm.
7:45pm ticketing starts. 8:15pm screening starts

FILMMAKERS: Best practice is submitting in advance at www.filmonik.com.au/submit-your-film or at least announce via email you'll bring a film on a USB drive on the night (info@filmonik.com.au) so we can reserve you a spot. Spontaneously submitted short films of any genre and of all filmmaking levels have been creating awesome and balanced screenings for the public. A quick QA with the host follows each film. Organize your own premiere with us or run a cheeky pre-premiere of your festival film. Guidelines here: www.filmonik.com.au/how-to-screen.

Filmonik is part of the worldwide Kino movement active in 30+ countries around the world.
