Films for Frockistas #1 - Iris
Event description
First in a series of Sunday arvo get togethers to watch documentaries and talk frocks, fabrics and fashion for people who love to sew and other fabric appreciators.Â
On Sunday 1st May we'll be screening Iris (2014) directed by Albert Maysles (1 hr 19m)
About the film:
IRIS pairs legendary documentarian Albert Maysles with Iris Apfel, the quick-witted, flamboyantly dressed (then) 93-year-old New York style icon and muse. More than just a fashion film, it is a story about creativity, design and how her soaring free spirit continues to inspire.
