Event description

This practical and easy-to-understand 2-hour workshop is designed for people involved in running not-for-profit organisations and community groups. Whether you're on a Board, committee, or helping lead your group, you have an important role in making sure the organisation’s money is managed properly. In this session, we’ll cover the basics of reading financial reports, setting up simple financial systems that suit the size of your organisation, and understanding your legal responsibilities. You'll learn what financial information you need to make good decisions and meet your reporting obligations. No accounting experience needed just a willingness to learn and support your organisation to stay strong, transparent, and financially healthy.
