Final Presentation CIN's AI for Network Security System

Join us for the final presentation of the Connectivity Innovation Network (CIN)’s AI for Network Security System project, led by Professor Ren Ping Liu and Dr Xu Wang from the University of Technology Sydney.

The project explores how artificial intelligence can enhance network security by improving the detection of anomalies and the effectiveness of response mechanisms. Through the use of large language models (LLMs) and multimodal reasoning, the research team is developing adaptive approaches to strengthen the protection of digital systems and sensitive communications.

This session follows the Stage 1 presentation held on 19 August 2025 and marks the project’s completion. During the presentation, the team will introduce CASPER AI (Context-Aware Security Policy Enforcement and Response), an intelligent system that applies AI to detect, interpret and respond to cybersecurity threats.

CASPER AI represents a move towards adaptive, context-aware protection. By drawing on data from physical, social and cyber domains, it is designed to identify unusual behavioural patterns, support policy-aligned responses and enhance the security of digital services across sectors.
