The biggest issue non finance executives face is to understand the correlation between their efforts in the operations and how those efforts are reflected in the financial health of the business. The financial results are a direct reflection of the efforts, and these are predominantly recorded through the production of annual financial statements and management reports.

To understand the financial statements is not to merely look in the rear-view mirror. Financial information not only assists to understand what has happened, but it can help predict the future.

This workshop provides a practical guide to understanding finance for non-finance managers. The success or failure of every business not only lies in the fundamentals of its financial performance but also the way in which financials are communicated throughout the organisation. The success or failure of a business is also contingent by the choices made by people at all levels of an organisation that directly impact the bottom line.

This course will provide the attendee with a good basis to know your number.
