Financial Governance and Stewardship (This is workshop 1 of 4 free workshops in the Puketāpapa Elevate your Impact workshop series)

**These sessions are open to and free to community groups, social enterprises and charities operating or based in the Puketāpapa Local Board area, due to funding support received from the Puketāpapa Local Board.**

Synopsis:
Successful NFP organisations recognise the need to have strong financial management. This session will take you through the key financial responsibilities of a governance committee including reading financial reports, developing a budget from a business plan and how to use that budget, cash forecasting and reporting to monitor and guide your organisation in its decision making and activities.

This workshop is ideally suited for current and aspiring board members, managers, and anyone involved in the governance of not-for-profit organisations.
