Join us for coffee and breakfast bites as we explore the financial fundamentals that every nonprofit and social enterprise leader should understand. Through guided examples, expert facilitators will walk you through what a financial model is, how one is built, and how to think through adjustments as circumstances and scenarios shift. You'll also have the chance to connect with fellow leaders who are navigating the same financial questions across the sector.

You will: 

• Explore real financial models with expert guides. Learn directly from Aimee Pourciau and Sakar Pudasaini, two CPAs who partner with mission-driven organizations every day. Through guided examples, they'll walk you through what a financial model is, how one is built, and how to think through adjustments as circumstances shift.

• See models adapt in real time. Funding changes and circumstances shift — so you'll watch and practice how models get updated on the spot, leaving you better prepared to think through financial projections for your own organization.

• Connect with leaders like you. Sit alongside nonprofit and social enterprise leaders who are building stronger financial systems, and share the strategic questions you're all facing together.

Meet Your Workshop Co-Facilitator, Aimee Pourciau

Aimee doesn't just crunch numbers - she champions missions. Aimee is a Director at Your Part-Time Controller and a licensed CPA with 20+ years of experience, leading their Colorado office and partnering with nonprofit leaders to bring clarity, confidence, and connection to every decision. With bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Louisiana State University and a certificate in Contemporary Animal Sciences, she combines strategic financial leadership with advocacy for animal welfare and beyond through hands-on fostering and community collaboration.

Meet Your Workshop Co-Facilitator, Sakar Pudasaini

Sakar is a CPA who specializes in providing accounting and financial services for the nonprofit sector. He is a Partner and Founder of beancount.co. Drawing on his experience building and leading Karkhana - a hybrid social enterprise in international education - he brings the empathy and understanding of a former nonprofit leader to help organizations streamline their financial systems. Sakar is dedicated to building systems that bridge the gap between rigorous compliance requirements and the practical management decision-making needs of social impact leaders.
