Mayala-Bol are hosting a free community women's circle for First Nations women.
This time we're bringing it to Palmerston!

PLEASE NOTE: This space is for Aboriginal and/or Torres Straight Islander women only

What: A relaxing women's circle (also known as a yarning circle or healing circle)
We are creating a safe space for blak women to gather, come as their selves, connect with other women, & truly settle into rest.

We know as women we can carry the weight of the Worlds on our shoulders! Let us hold space for you.

We will gather in circle, yarn around circle with prompting questions, introduce ourselves, pick an affirmation card message, come into rest and relaxation or known as deep listening or meditation with crystal sound bowls then journal our reflections.

A free feed will be served as well as yummy herbal teas.

Deep breaths and big belly laughs are or birthright.

Who's it for: For Aboriginal and/or Torres Straight Islander women across Darwin and Palmerston aged 18+

Cost: It's completely Free! (there are only 10 tickets available!)

Your facilitators:
Menah and Noni are both founders of Mayala-Bol, they are Maningrida Salt water women.
They offer a gentle and warm approach in their facilitation and give big hugs to those who need it.

Noni - Noni is recognised as Njawámud/Godjan belonging to Kunibídji / Kunbarlang families in the west Arnhemland, balancing French anglo-celtic lineage.

Menah - Menah Mckenzie known as Bulanjyan is from the community of Maningrida of West Arnhem Land. Following her fathers side she belongs to the Anbarra Diyama people and speaks the Burarra language. Her mothers lineage tracks to central Australia and to the Kimberley's in Western Australia. Menah proudly holds bloodlines from saltwater to Desert.
Menah is trauma informed trained as well as certified in mindfulness and yoga Nidra teachings.
