AUDITIONS for Finding Nemo Jr - a Musical workshop series and production presented by Yeppoon Choral Society and Livingstone Shire Council

This site is to register for AUDITIONS for Finding Nemo Jr.  (A separate page will be be created shortly for registration for ALL participants).

Auditions for lead roles (High School Aged Children - must be under 18 years of age) will be held on Tuesday 11 March 4.00pm-6.00pm at the Community Centre, 80 John St, Yeppoon.

Lead Roles: Nemo, Marlin, Dory

Supporting Roles: Coral, Pearl, Sheldon, Tad, Professor Ray, Bruce, Chum or Anchor, Bubbles, Bloat, Gurgle, Peach, Gill, Nigel, Crush, Squirt, Parents of Tad, Sheldon and Pearl. 

Please note: this registration page is for auditions only, and it is FREE to audition.

You will need to register your child/ren on the Finding Nemo Jr Musical registration page separately (available soon) and pay a registration fee once they have been accepted into the cast. 

Prior to the performances, all participants are expected to be present for all rehearsals and both shows.

REHEARSALS:

• Monday 7 April - Friday 11 April from 9:00am - 3:00pm at St Ursula's School Hall, Yeppoon

TWO PERFORMANCES

• 2:00pm Saturday 12 April
• 5.00pm Saturday 12 April

Join us for an intensive week of all things musical!

Children will learn dance and stage work throughout the week and come together to put on two performances on Saturday 12th April.

This event has been generously subsidized by the Livingstone Shire Council, to the extent that the cost per participant ($150 per child) is now $100 for the whole week of rehearsals and shows!

Requirements per child:

• Black clothing (children may require a small costume addition (e.g. a feather boa, coloured socks, etc.)
• Covered shoes for rehearsal week and black covered shoes for performances
• Daily lunches, water and hats (for meal breaks)
• Participants must be in attendance from 9:00am, and collected promptly at the end of each day at 3:00pm.
• We expect that each child who participates in this event will be compassionate and respectful toward staff and each other.  If there are any identified behaviours of concern throughout the program, the Yeppoon Choral Society will contact you in the first instance.  If this behaviour continues, the Yeppoon Choral Society may ask your child to exit the program at any time.  There will not be a refund provided.
• If your child is sick or unwell, you will be expected to collect them within a 60 minute timeframe.  
• If your child sustains life-threatening injuries, you give us consent to contact emergency services.
• Your child may be photographed as part of the cast for promotional purposes, but please notify us if you have any concerns. A consent form will be made available after registration.
• If your child has any disability or requires additional supports, please advise us so that we can ensure inclusion and accessibility needs are met.
