In her Directorial Debut Sari Bennett performs with Amy Hastie in Finding Voice, a courageous autobiographical physical theatre piece that combines spoken word poetry, live music and acrobatic dance. Finding Voice is a celebration of the vulnerability and strength required to journey into the stories hidden within our bodies and behaviours, our lives and lineages. Audiences are taken on a journey from the depths of despair to the heights of hilarity in this charmingly human story of redemption and healing.
After a hugely successful 2023 season in regional WA, Sari brings a very special one off performance of Finding Voice to the stage at 107 where her powerful storytelling is to be accompanied by the musical talents of her father David Bennett and nephew Sam Bennett.
