FINS UP! Feat. Dear Seattle, MARVELL + Bronte Alva (LAUNCH SHOW)

FINS UP! is a brand new live music series showcasing some of the best local and touring acts in Australia to an intimate setting in Sydney's Northern Beaches.

Dear Seattle, fresh off the back of their latest single ‘Nothing’s Stopping Me Now’ and national headline east coast tour, as well as the triple j presented ‘Hockey Fields’ national tour supporting Hockey Dad and Ruby Fields, Dear Seattle will be headlining this hometown show in what will be a launch of the new live event series FINS UP! on Manly Beach.

Vocalist Brae Fisher touches on the single, “It’s all about that underdog, comeback-of-the-year, Steven Bradbury type energy, where you hit rock bottom so hard it somehow bounces you straight back up and a sudden surge of motivation has you running again. It’s when someone tells you, you can’t, and no fibre of your being is willing to let that be true.” Fisher continues, “It’s one of those tracks that kinda just fell out of us. As soon as it felt good we hit the green light. We didn’t overthink it, didn’t labour on it, just went with our gut with conviction.”

Joining Dear Seattle on the night will be local heroes MARVELL along with South Coast indie-rock singer/songwriter Bronte Alva.
