This event has passed Register

Event description

Discover the beneficial properties of many commonly available kitchen ingredients and learn how to use them to make your own winter warming digestive and immune system boosting tonic. This workshop will include a discussion of the history of fire cider tonics and apple cider vinegar tonics in general. We will run through the medicinal virtues of each of the chosen ingredients whilst covering other potential substitution ingredients.

You will learn to prepare the ingredients in this hands on workshop and how to preserve them. We will also cover health and safety as well as trouble shooting advice. Finally we will sample a variety of ways to incorporate the fire cider tonic into everyday meals.
