Fire in the Mountains
Event description
Fire in the Mountains intentionally curates music to the beat of our ancient pulse, music that embodies and exemplifies the primal wonder of the natural world. Consisting of a three-day, wilderness-based, heavy music and cultural arts experience, this immersive festival combines diversified heavy music, art, educational workshops, adventure, local and cultural food options, and a social setting conducive for personal growth, connection to one another, and the land that hosts us.
Fire in the Mountains is organized in partnership with the Southern Piikunii (Blackfeet Nation) and is located at Red Eagle Campground, within the Blackfeet Reservation. This partnership will feature direct programming featuring Blackfeet culture, along with the creation of the Firekeeper Alliance - a non-profit organization working towards combating the youth suicide and mental health crisis on the Blackfeet Reservation.
