π A Meeting, Which-Way Style!
Which-Way Connect has grown incredibly quickly, and with so many exciting community initiatives underway, it's time to bring everyone together!
Between opening our new community hub, planning the Christmas Festival, rolling out Safe Starts VR, delivering workshops and community programs, and coordinating events and partnerships, there's a lot happening behind the scenes.
After sitting down and writing out everything we have underway, one thing became very clearβ¦
We need more hands, more collaboration and a few more people helping bring everything to life! π
So we're doing what Which-Way does best β bringing people together!
This Fire Pit Friday will be a formal planning and collaboration meeting, just done the Which-Way way!
No cooking this time. Just shared food, good yarns, fresh ideas and some much-needed organisation around the fire.
π₯ What We'll Be Discussing
- The Nest Community Hub: Opening, setup, workshops, Breakfast Club and community organisations sharing the space.
- Christmas Festival: Planning, sponsorships, stallholders, food vans, performers and event coordination.
- Upcoming Events: Fireside Feast, community markets and future activities.
- Safe Starts VR: Road safety programs, technology support, facilitators and partnerships.
- Volunteer Opportunities: Immediate positions available across administration, events, marketing, technology, coordination and community programs.
- Resources & Fundraising: Equipment hire, resource library, mobile diggers and sponsorship opportunities.
- Community Collaboration: Bringing organisations, businesses and individuals together to share skills, resources and opportunities.
π€ Who Should Come?
Everyone!
Whether you're an existing volunteer, local business, community organisation, potential sponsor, someone interested in volunteering or simply someone who wants to get involved in making a difference β we'd love you there.
You don't need to commit to everything. Even helping with one small task can make a huge difference.
π₯ Bring a Plate to Share!
We're keeping food simple this week.
If you can, bring along a plate of something to share. No cooking stations or organised meal β just everyone contributing a little and enjoying some food together.
π What We Hope to Achieve
We want to finish the evening with more than just great conversations!
Our goal is to identify people interested in particular roles, allocate responsibilities, create connections and establish clear next steps for our upcoming programs and events.
Because Which-Way was never meant to be about one person doing everything. It's about community coming together and making things happen.
