Fireside Chat with: Prof Ben Eggleton

Join Rupal Ismin as she speaks with Professor Ben Eggleton, a renowned researcher in photonics holding many leadership positions at the University of Sydney. Most recently, he has spun off a new start-up from the University of Sydney called Vital Photonics, developing a proof of concept to monitor the vital signs of people in prisons.
About Prof Ben Eggleton
Professor Ben Eggleton currently serves as Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research) at the University of Sydney. He is a Professor in the School of Physics where he leads a research group in experimental photonics with a specific focus on nonlinear optics, photonic integrated circuits and smart sensors. He is co-Director of the NSW Smart Sensing Network (NSSN) and leads the Jericho Smart Sensing Laboratory (JSSL). He is a Chief Investigator at the ARC Centre of Excellence in Optical Microcombs for Breakthrough Science (COMBS).

The Sydney Knowledge Hub Reception is located on Level 2. 3) Bathrooms: There is an accessible toilet located in the hallway leading from Reception. Follow the pink line on the floor.
