SPRING SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS AT ST MARK'S, HILLARYS

FIRE TECH MAKING GAMES WITH GAMEMAKER: 2 DAY CAMP

    About this event

Monday 1 October and Tuesday 2 October 2021
    9am - 3pm

Recommended for students in School Years 4 - 7.

Learn to make games with GameMaker Studio 2, an industry tool used by developers and enthusiasts worldwide! Our expert tutors will introduce students to the fundamentals of game design and programming, using the same tools that created award-winning titles such as Undertale and Hyper Light Drifter.

This course provides students with everything they need to start their game development journey. The only limit will be their imagination!

    • Learn how to use industry-standard tools with skills that are transferable across the workforce.
    • Create customised sprites and animations
    • Understand the fundamentals of game design and the programming that makes it possible.
    • Devise and implement personalised game mechanics and features

It is our newest course, and it is a whole bunch of fun!

Students are to bring their water bottle and nut-free snacks/lunch.

We politely ask parents and carers to drop kids off 5 minutes before the workshop start time and return to pick up at the finish time. Thank you kindly.

Please be advised that in the event a workshop does not meet minimum numbers to run, you will be notified of the cancellation and will receive a full refund.
