What's being decided?
The Department for Energy and Mining has developed draft regulations to support the implementation of FERM. This Stage 2 Consultation is your chance to provide feedback on specific design elements to help ensure the scheme operates effectively.
Background
In 2024, the department undertook Stage 1 Consultation, seeking input on the proposed concept and design of the mechanism. Feedback from that process helped shape the current draft regulations.
Now, we're inviting industry and stakeholders to have their say one final time on the detailed design before the regulations are finalised.
