Indie rock 3-piece Firm Filters and gritty folk rockers Daisypicker play Mamma Chen’s with support from folk singer-songwriter Emma Painter on Friday the 21st of February!
Firm Filters are a three-piece indie rock band formed in Naarm/Melbourne. Taking influence from folk rock, heartland rock, punk, funk and classic pop, their set is based around frontman Brad Woodward’s original songs. Completed by warm bass lines from Jason Renehan and passionate drumming from Rory Day, Firm Filters’ songs tell the story of youth, love, struggle and everyday life.
Daisypicker (f.k.a Nadia Phillips band) are bringing their gritty folk rock to Mamma Chen’s! Driven by the fervent lyrical lens of love, longing and loss, Daisypicker’s dynamic instrumentation and enchanting vocals will make your heart ache and flutter.
